This trip also gave us the chance to try out the new Westy Tent I bought. It's nice because it attaches to the bus and gives us an extra room to store gear, or sleep, or even change clothes. It's tall so you can stand inside and not have to slouch around.

And we also got to explore around. The campsite was really nice over at Nehalem Bay State Park, though not as private as we're used to. The weather was nice and cool and we got lots of sun. We ate some hot dogs one night, and then some bbq chicken the next night with fresh corn on the grill. The girls loved it and didn't want to leave.
Here's one more shot of a town we explored called Garibaldi. I liked this shot of the pickle.

All in all, two nights, a great trip. And no issues with the bus at all. It handled the coast range with aplomb doing 45 on the steepest grades and 60 on the flat roads. We can't wait to go back and explore some more.
