Last weekend, we took some time to explore Portland and wound up taking Charlie to the Widmer Pub in North Portland. I did a few experiments with photography and here is one shot of Charlie done a few different ways. First I messed with the exposures from just one picture (not multiple shots this time) then used those to make a "fake HDR" shot, then I processed them in some different ways. As you can see, even though this isn't true HDR, the effect is still there. I'm not really thrilled with any of these shots, but is more of an experiment.
But more on the beer. I had a couple of their Broken Halo IPAs and a big sausage with fondue. (Yeah, diet is really working.)
Michele had the Chicken Schnitzel with root beer, and Lani and Kili had some Mac N' Cheese and Simple Noodles. Everyone had a great time.
Honestly, I thought the beer was better than the food. Later!
