Some New Pictures

Not much camping done lately by the Pickle clan, but I am going next weekend so I'll have many more pictures to post next month. But I thought I would post a couple of our holiday photos taken by my sister in law Dawn. She is a great photographer.

This time, we used Charlie for our photographs. The old brown bus doesn't get as much pub as pickle and that's just not right.

I think I've finally straightened out all the problems with Charlie by now. No more bucking and the gas mileage is getting better and better as the engine breaks in. It is actually a very peppy bus and almost as fast as my Camper Special engine that cost me double the price (or more). I could also not be happier with the paint job. I waxed it the other day and it shines like crazy and I just love that deep brown tone.

the 79 Agate Brown and Dakota Beige Station Wagon is a wonderful representation of the VW Bay Window Bus at its best!

One other thing, my bus mentor and life coach Colin from the Itinerant board decided to paint the bus and my daughter for one of his calendar pictures.

So click on this link to find a discussion and a link of his work in progress.

About Me

My photo
We love living in the Northwest with our two VW buses. One is green and named the "Party Pickle." It's our camper. The other is brown and is named "Charlie Brown." It's a transporter. My wife is a great co-pilot and my two girls are seven and nine years old. Our dog, Chippy, loves chasing raquet balls. Hope to see you out there in the slow lane.
