
This time, we used Charlie for our photographs. The old brown bus doesn't get as much pub as pickle and that's just not right.
I think I've finally straightened out all the problems with Charlie by now. No more bucking and the gas mileage is getting better and better as the engine breaks in. It is actually a very peppy bus and almost as fast as my Camper Special engine that cost me double the price (or more). I could also not be happier with the paint job. I waxed it the other day and it shines like crazy and I just love that deep brown tone.


the 79 Agate Brown and Dakota Beige Station Wagon is a wonderful representation of the VW Bay Window Bus at its best!

One other thing, my bus mentor and life coach Colin from the Itinerant board decided to paint the bus and my daughter for one of his calendar pictures.
