It's a great spot that allows dogs on the patio. It has decent food and great beer and it's just become our gathering spot.
Well back in April, I was able to make one of the "meetings" and I got to see my VW friends outside of a campground. There was Tristessa and Gypsy and Hambone and Westy78 and a few others who really have been the best part of reconnecting to my VW habit.

They are such a diverse group of people. There are so many different opinions and temperments.

But we all share I think a willingness to help each other. To share our knowledge in our little fields of expertise.

Some of us know some secret camping spots, others, the best way to adjust the air/fuel mixture. Some know the best places to buy microbrews.

But the bottom line is that we all have a great time when we get together. We share a bond that seems deeper than just our common interest of buses. It's almost as though we are the same not because we own buses, but because we're the kind of people who'd want to own buses. And our kids love hanging out with each other too.

I used to think the best part of having a Camping Bus was the places it could take me. But since I've owned the Party Pickle, I found the best part is the things it's brought to me. New friends, a closer family, memories we are making that we'll never forget.
So, thanks all my VW friends who I've met on the Samba, Wetwesties, and the infamous IAC. You have been incredibly generous with what you've taught me and I am more than happy to play the willing student for the rest of this adventure.
See you down the road.
